Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32 230V Inverter Charger – PMP122305010
Product Description
The Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32 230V is a professional inverter/charger designed for 12V battery systems requiring reliable 230V AC power, high-capacity battery charging and intelligent management of an external AC supply.
Combining a pure sine wave inverter, a 120A battery charger and a 32A AC transfer switch, the MultiPlus-II provides an integrated solution for marine, mobile, backup-power and off-grid installations. It combines established MultiPlus functionality with additional features designed for advanced energy systems.
With a continuous inverter rating of 3,000VA and an output of up to 2,400W at 25°C, this unit can power a wide range of compatible AC equipment, subject to starting-current requirements, battery capacity and installation design.
Intelligent AC Power Management
PowerControl and PowerAssist
PowerControl allows the maximum AC input current to be configured to suit the available shore power, mains supply or generator. The unit can adjust its battery charging demand to help avoid overloading the source.
PowerAssist goes further by supplementing a limited AC supply with additional energy from the battery through the inverter when connected loads temporarily exceed the available input capacity.
The MultiPlus-II also supports an optional external current transformer for extended current measurement in suitable grid-parallel installations. This allows PowerControl and PowerAssist to be configured using external current sensing where required.
Key Features and Benefits

Installation and Compatibility
The MultiPlus-II is designed for use with a suitable 12V battery bank and correctly rated AC and DC electrical infrastructure. It can be integrated with compatible Victron monitoring, control and energy-management equipment through VE.Bus.
The 120A charging capability and high inverter output require careful consideration of battery discharge limits, cable sizing, DC fusing, ventilation, AC protection and earthing. Battery chemistry, charging voltages and control settings must be matched to the battery manufacturer's recommendations.
For installations involving grid-parallel operation, additional system design, current sensing and applicable grid-compliance requirements must be considered. The 12/3000/120-32 model should not be assumed to be suitable for every grid-connected application.
Installation and commissioning should be carried out by a suitably qualified professional in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical regulations.
Please check the model and part number before ordering: PMP122305010 identifies the MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32 230V model with a 32A AC transfer switch. It is different from the original MultiPlus 12/3000 models and from MultiPlus-II models designed for other battery voltages or AC systems.
